Title: Telecoms Engineer (Trainee)

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000

Location: Milton Keynes

My Client is looking for a Telecoms Engineer who will work closely with the Head of Engineering. This role will be supporting the Installation of new systems and maintaining the current systems out there. You will be ensuring they are delivering the best possible customer experience. You will need to find solutions to ensure all faults are prioritised and actioned accordingly, ensuring the customer receives regular updates.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect and service telecommunication systems including Gamma Horizon, Mitel 250, Panasonic and NEC (training provided where gaps are identified)

* Must handle all kind of telecommunicating devices and use them in proper manner.

* Work on helpdesk and fault diagnostics

* Make site visits when needed to solve problems regarding communicating devices.

* Install and check broadband/leased line routers

* Log faults with Channel Partners and update internal and external fault tickets.

* Record customer details and changes on our CRM system

* Be prepared to develop own skills using Online and Residential courses

* Return weekly time sheets to the General Manager

* Provision and support of mobile products in our portfolio.

Skill for telecommunication engineers:

* Must demonstrate good problem-solving ability.

* Knowledge in software that supports VoIP telecommunication systems.

* Experience in networking essential.

* Knowledge of programming language and router configuration

* Full clean driving license

* Minimum 1 years’ experience in the field
