Job Overview:
My client is looking to recruit a RF Design Engineer with a solid background involving in-building radio survey & design, installation, and commissioning projects with a minimum of 5 years' experience. This includes projects involving passive and active Distributed Antenna Systems, analogue and digital active RFoF systems, small cell and dedicated base station multi technology designs.
The right candidate should be fluent in iBwave Design, Office 365, predominantly MS Word & Excel & MS Visio. History of training and demonstration of competence would be advantageous.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage a range of multi operator JOTs full detailed design submissions, taking ownership of the technical specification and ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
Remote and local troubleshooting of in-building dedicated, RFoF, & Small Cell deployed solutions. Liaising with both the client and colleagues. The ability to spot potential errors through analysis of collected data.
Produce, review, and evaluate detailed designs proposals, commissioning reports and handover reports.
Be an integral member of the Survey & Design team.
Provide support through build & acquisition to ensure a smooth delivery.
Considerations:
Strong customer facing skills interfacing with high profile customers i.e. UK Mobile Operators. Hold engaging conversations with senior members of management and provide technical assistance where necessary.
Ability to share knowledge and understanding in a coherent fashion.
Professional approach including good communication skills, especially with the client.
Must demonstrate an ability to learn and adapt to new disciplines and techniques.
Must be prepared to work away from home in the field conducting site visits.
Full UK driving licence. Preferably clean.
