Radio Communications Engineer – Field

Radio Communications Engineer

Summary of Position:
Preparation & Installation – installation of various radio and paging systems and supporting software with wired and wireless communication devices at customer sites.
Service – support as needed to large projects and equipment faultfinding.
Pre-sales efforts with site surveys for equipment solution requirements and scope of works. Maintaining accurate records is essential for our ISO9001 process and client requirements.
Post-sales – knowledge support to in-house teams & customer 2nd line troubleshooting with direct assistance to the client to help determine issues and whether a site visit is needed.

* Installation of Hardware and Software

* Installation of IT & Software

* General Cabling

* Site Survey

* Update Van Stock & Reports

Equipment training is provided. Training to qualify and maintain industry-relevant qualifications is supported and required. There is an expectation of self-learning with access given to equipment and training material. Ongoing training needs are monitored and assessed regularly.
