Build Space require experienced POLERS, POLING ENGINEERS, POLING OPERATIVES in Buckinghamshire, England.

Our client is expanding their teams to service existing large contracts with the biggest tier 1 contractors & network providers in the market. In a time of major growth for my client, they are on the hunt for hard working polers / gangs who will thrive on the platform provided which combines over 70 years experience from senior staff doing the job themselves. They have market leading work schedule and rate card to bolster your earning potential.

Poling Engineer – Roles &Responsibilities:

Installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles

Replacing/renewing existing drop-wires

Replacing/renewing overhead and UG joints

Transportation of Poles to and from site.

Completing Job Specific risk assessment

Dropwire and Ariel cable termination/renewal

Copper jointing

Completion of Reinstatement

SLG

Poling Engineer – Experience required:

Flexible and have the availability to work away from home – If required

Have a full Clean UK licence

One person in the crew will require a HGV Class 2 licence)

Pole Erection Unit and HIAB experience

Self-motivated, achievement orientated and be able to stay calm in pressure situations

Excellent time management

Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients and representatives

Results driven, with the drive to succeed in difficult situations

Have previous experience of the installation and removal of Poles in a Telecommunications environment

Working experience on overhead and underground network

Hold full NRSWA Street-works qualifications at operative level
