Installations Engineer
Buckinghamshire

Brief
Installations Engineer needed for a well-known full-fibre broadband provider with £250m of investment. The successful candidate will be field based and cover the Buckinghamshire area. My client is looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Installations Engineer that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidate must hold the two following qualifications – SA001 SA002 (Safety Overhead) and SA002 (Safety Underground).

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Installation Engineers will include:

Installation Engineers will represent the client on a daily basis as they deliver the following services for their customers. You will work closely with their design team to survey build areas, ensuring the network is built for straightforward installations to customer premises. As part of the day-to-day role, you will be expected to safely use plant, materials, care of tools and equipment in a way to minimize unnecessary waste and damage.

What experience you need to be the successful Installation Engineer:

Installing Fibre to the Premises for one or more of the following:

· PIA Overhead (Openreach Poles)
· PIA Lead-Ins (Openreach ducts)
· Toby Box
· Internal Cabling (Telephone, Ethernet or Fibre)
· Installation and configuration of ONT (Optical Network termination) and Residential Gateway (Router)
· Fault finding ONT, RG and Wireless
· Fault finding on Fibre network.
· Driving licence essential.
· DBS Check
