IPCortex Limited are a rapidly expanding software solutions vendor. Via our partner only channel we provide software solutions in voice and applications that improve the way the world does real-time communications. Our platform is delivered via a unique proposition allowing partners to choose from on-premise, hosted, virtual or service provider models.

We are looking for Product Development & Delivery Manager to ensure the commercial success of IP Cortex through successful business management of the products and roadmap.

Where are we?

Our beautiful offices are based in Swanbourne in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside however most of our team work remotely with some office presence. Location is negotiable as long as you don’t mind travelling to the office at least once a week.

What do we look for?

Our company may not be large in numbers, but it is full of talent and we look for the best to join our award winning team. We can provide training and guidance on our unique products but the key requirements for this role are:

* Experience in Lean development with MVPs

* Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of the market

* Strong product management experience coupled with Project Management experience in a technical area

* Expertise in the telecoms industry and knowledge of relevant telephony products e.g. PBX/VOIP solutions

* UX knowledge

* Bachelors degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience

* Management and leadership skills

* Someone highly analytical but with good relationship management skills

* The proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* A strong team player with high professional standards

None of the below are essential but we would love it if you had:

* Experience in unified communications

* PRINCE2 qualification

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Product Development & Delivery’s core responsibility is to own the product roadmap, driving actions throughout the organisation to get products to market. Working with Sales and Development to define the scope of the development need and to prioritise and drive all associated development activities. Other responsibilities include:

* Translate business strategy into product strategy – articulate the product vision

* Own the product roadmap

* Responsible for creating/documenting high-level requirements

* Lead and manage a team of Developers

* Understand the market position vs competition and market opportunities for IP Cortex

* Make clear and structured recommendations on a Buy or Build strategy to improve functionality of our products

* Plan and carry out product launches and review their success

* Manage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case

* Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues

* Manage regular Development Project planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives

* Provide regular Project Development status reports to stakeholders/interested parties
