Fibre Designer needed to join a Full-Fibre Broadband Provider based in Buckinghamshire and another position based in London. Our client is looking for forward thinking, enthusiastic individuals to join the team. You will need to be keen to learn, adaptable and excited to be part of our fast-growing organisation.

What the Fibre Designer role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Fibre Designer will include:
* Responsible for supporting our current Design Partners – ensuring that the following quality standards are met
* Co-Agreed KPI's in the Schedule (Scope of Works)
* MIS (Reporting)
* Efficiency in Design – in terms of Cost Point & PIA Usage
* Ensure the Designers plan an FTTP Network that can serve both Residential homes and Businesses, including SDU and MDU scenarios
* Safety and Hazard Identification meets the required standard
* Capture and facilitate Design Change Requests (In Life Changes) that are identified during Build Stage, to uphold network record integrity
What experience you need to be the successful Fibre Designer:
* Experience of QGIS for FTTP/FTTH Design, they will consider others like GIS, Qfield or ArcGIS
* Experience of working in/around the Openreach network and a strong knowledge of PIA
* Understanding of different FTTP Network Architecture
* Understanding of Desk based Design Software & Field based Design Software
* Good Communication and Stakeholder management skills
