Fibre Desktop Planner – QGIS experience required – 40/42k + Bonus + Bens

Fibre Desktop planners with QGIS experience are required by this leader in Telecommunications, They are the driving force behind the new and exciting build of Gigabit Britain.

You’ll be joining the design team, owing the complete design and planning process for your given city projects. This will range from design inception, through to build completion and any subsequent overlay network designs post build. To support your design plans for their fibre networks, you’ll also focus on analysing all data available , regularly using QGIS to achieve this. This is a desk-based role and will not require you to be out on site.

Experience

This is a crucial role in the ability to achieve the goal of revolutionising the UKs digital infrastructure. This means we’re looking for an experienced fibre planner who can confidently use and leverage QGIS on a day to day basis, to help support the planning and design of their networks.

It’s also important for you to have a detailed understanding of civil route, cabling, aerial and fibre planning. You’ll also ideally have some PIA experience
