We are currently recruiting for compassionate and temporary Support Workers in the Leighton Buzzard and Aylesbury area.  You'll support children in a residential school setting.  Children who have mild to moderate learning disabilities, autism and epilepsy who are supported by a local charity. 

As one of our agency support workers, you will need a good understanding of working with children who have learning disabilities.  You'll be supportive and have a non-judgemental attitude.  You'll also be passionate about your job. 

Your role will include:

completing and following comprehensive support plans 

using interpersonal skills and building relationships

working with the team in place to ensure the children are supported either in their own homes on site, or in the school

You'll show empathy and awareness for others individuality, cultures and beliefs.  Ideally, you will have a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or be working towards one

Shift patterns include, early, late, waking nights, 7 days a week.

We are looking for reliability and a flexible approach along with a caring nature and attitude.
