Support Worker/Reviewing Advisor

£24,746.13 per annum
Full Time (36.5 hours per week) – 8.45am – 5.00pm plus requirement to take part in on-call rota

About the role:
We are looking for a kind and compassionate individual to help us deliver our Life24 service to customers and their families. The purpose of this role will be to review the Life24 service provided to customers and their families to ensure the system is working correctly and continues to meet their needs. You will be required to install and remove equipment where required.
Due to the nature of the role, there may be the requirement to travel between the Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire areas.
What we’re looking for:
* Good IT skills – ability to email, use Microsoft word, excel etc, ability to use tailored computer systems
* An interest in gaining further qualifications to support the role
* Ability to plan own workload with minimal supervision
* Understanding of needs & risk assessment procedures with the ability to encourage customer inclusion in their own assessment & review of need
* Experience of working within a customer facing environment
* Ability and enthusiasm to work with new technology to support independent living
* Ability to promote the service to potential customers and external organisations in a positive & professional manner at every opportunity
* A flexible approach to hours worked and ability to respond to emergencies if necessary (you will be scheduled onto a rolling out-of-hours rota for the Life24 Service).
* The ability to travel effectively and efficiently to all our sites/customers.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be scheduled onto a rolling out-of-hours rota for the Life24 Service.
The successful candidate will be required to take part in an enhanced DBS.
