You will be required to work in various residential settings, to work with clients that have learning disabilities, such as Autism as well as physical disabilities and mental health. Experience isn't necessary as full training is provided.

The role will involve:

As a support worker you will possess the following qualities: a friendly, empathetic, and patient individual who has confidence to take lead when dealing with challenging behaviours.
The candidate must be able to creatively organise activities to engage the service user according to the SU's interests and teach life skills.
The candidate must be firm and able to communicate advice and instructions without hesitation.
The candidate must be prepared to carryout personal care duties as and when needed depending on the SU's care plan
