Staff Nurse

Salary: up to maximum £31,284 per annum (pro-rata for part time) + benefits

We are keen to hear from newly qualified nurses; those waiting to receive their PIN and nurses with previous experience of working with people with epilepsy and of administering medication through a PEG feed.

You will be working in a bright, modern care home with nursing needs: the home supports people with complex requirements including difficult-to-treat seizures and associated learning difficulties. You will strive for a person centred, caring and emotionally supportive environment, in which people are not defined by their condition. Sharing the values of protecting an individual's dignity and promoting well-being at all times is an integral part of the job. You will have a good understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, equality and diversity and all other current practices.
You will manage a small team of support workers and be able to lone work.
Our Staff Nurses (RMN, RGN, RNLD), work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and assist the two Senior Staff Nurses and Service Manager in the day to day running of the home which accommodates 20 residents.
Part-time and full-time applications welcome – our working pattern is 24/7 365 days per year.
