Social Worker – Level 2 – Fostering Team – Milton Keynes – £30,451 – £34,728 per annum

We are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to join a Fostering Team based in Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress within a supportive team.

Recruitment and assessment of prospective special guardians, kinship, connected persons carers & general carers in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
Assists with local recruitment activities, including participation in initiatives, as well as monitoring and evaluation of effectiveness of methods
Undertakes initial visits
Undertakes formal assessment using the BAAF Form F and adhering to the standards and requirements of the process
Presentation of Form F and support of carer applicants at panel for this roleEssential requirements of this Social Worker role include:

The successful applicant will have at least 1 year post qualifying experience
Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England
Enhanced DBS, driving license and a car user#LPC
