Social Worker – Children in Care – Buckinghamshire – Up to 46,527 per annum + Benefits

We are currently looking for a qualified Social Worker to join the Children in Care Team in Buckinghamshire.

As a Social Worker, your role within the team will be to support children living with relatives, friend or foster families and prospective parents, living in children's homes and semi-independent units. Through regular visits, assessments and by way of care plan review, you will nurture and develop meaningful relations with these children.

They require a Social Worker who can understand and interpret their wishes whilst supporting and championing them to reach their full potential. Occasionally, you will be required to prepare reports and attend court.

Case conferencesEssential requirements of this Social Worker role:

Have a social work qualification
Have an active Social Work England registration
Have completed their ASYE
Post qualified experience within a Local Authority
Commitment and dedication – successful applicants will be able to demonstrate this with good lengths of service with previous roles.
