Social Worker – Mental Health – £33K

With experience from the NHS or the private sector, you will manage and support a complex caseload of forensic service users detained under the Mental Health Act.
You will be responsible for completing CPA reports, Mental Health Tribunals and Managers Hearings, and for assessing service users current social circumstances, analysing the impact on their mental health and providing support in developing feasible plans for their future.
As an experienced member of the team, you will lead and promote children and adult safeguarding, which will see you maintain relationships with statutory external stakeholders and design and deliver training and supervisions.

To be successful for this role you must have:

Good working knowledge of the relevant legislation
At least 3 years’ experience of working in mental health
Be registered with Social Work England
Qualification – CQSW or CSS or Dip SW or Degree in Social Work
Understand and champion the social perspective on mental health
