Our client is a growing, dynamic care company which has developed bespoke services over several years within central High Wycombe, providing support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, ASD, and challenging behaviours. They have multiple sites around the town including Residential, Supported Living and step-down services and are looking for dedicated Senior Support Workers to join their growing team.

About the role:

The company provides support for people with a variety of needs including but not limited to learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and mental health conditions. They pride themselves on offering person centered care, maximising each individuals potential for health improvement and promoting a positive sense of self-worth.

Some services have clients who will require assistance with personal care and there are also some with challenging behaviours. Services vary in size from 5 to 13 clients and depending on your experience and preference the company can base you at the service that best suits your skills and background to best support their clients.

As a Senior member of the team you will support the Support Workers and Care Workers and ensure that the very highest standards of support are provided in accordance with the company's Mission Statement.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of care and service is provided to all residents at all times. You'll play a key part with care delivery in the home including personal care, record keeping, dealing with residents' monies, and administering medication.

Full time, permanent Senior Support Worker / Team Leader roles
37.5 hours per week; part time of 22.5 or 30 hours per week

7:30am-3pm; 2:30pm-10pm

£11.12-12.05 per hour

Requirements:

Previous experience within a supported living/residential care home as a Senior Support Worker / Care Team Leader
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
