The Esland Group are now recruiting for a Registered Manager for our brand new children’s home situated in Milton Keynes. We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable leader to join our family and support us in our mission to change children’s lives for the better.

The Role:

Our home in Milton Keynes is registered for three young people and you will lead a dedicated team of staff, who are child-centered in their approach and values-led in their practice. You will work closely with external professionals, including social workers, teachers and healthcare professionals, to build a comprehensive programme of care for our children and ensure that they are happy, safe and stimulated. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, providing reflective and supportive leadership and ensure the provision of high-quality residential care.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, where no two days are the same – you will develop and nurture your staff team to their full potential and ensure that your home is a place where staff and young people thrive.

· Significant experience managing or supervising a team in a residential children’s home

· The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or you are willing to work towards this)

· Direct knowledge of and involvement in Ofsted inspections and a record of Good or Outstanding ratings

· Resilience and passion, even through challenging times

· A flexible approach to working

· A full, clean, UK driving licence (essential for our rural locations)
