Registered Fostering Manager

A well regarded Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Registered Fostering Manager to join their team in Bedfordshire. The Agency recently received 'Good' overall in their most recent OFSTED, with some areas gaining 'Outstanding'.

This is a new position that has been created due to the agency's growth and will cover a region which includes Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire. The service currently 67 families in total with 76 children in placement.

As Registered Fostering Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the service along with growth of the number of foster placements across the region. You will forge and maintain relationships with local authorities while also ensuring the implementation of the Fostering Services Regulations 2011 and the National Minimum Standards.

The position offers a competitive salary package of up to £60,000 depending on experience and along with 38 days annual leave (inc bank holidays).

To be considered you must have previously worked as a Social Work Manager within an Independent Fostering Agency,Fostering Charity or Local Authority. You will have a significant experience within the Independent Fostering Sector and be confident in managing through OFSTED. The position does offer flexibility to work from home however travel across the region will be a regular part of the role, therefore a full driving licence is essential
