Regional Manager – Children's Residential
£55k DOE + bonus + millage/ comp car
The role is located across Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Leicester and Burton Upon Trent.
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Manager to join a growing Children's Services provider. You will be overseeing and holding responsibility for a small cluster of homes – around 5/ 6 in total. They have 11 homes (and expanding) and these will be split in responsibilities between 2 Regional Managers.
The Candidate
As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing 5/ 6 homes from an operational perspective
Providing supervision and support for the Registered Managers
Assisting Registered Managers regarding Ofsted inspections and compliance with other relevant regulations
Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Identifying and addressing any training requirements for staff and carers
Attending meetings (including but not limited to: LAC reviews, Local Authority – placement teams and commissioners, providers)
Managing home budgets with a keen commercial focus (occupancy etc.)
Requirements
As a Regional Manager, you will have/be:
3 years' experience as a Registered Manager of a specialist children's service
Experience in multi-site management across children's residential homes
A proven record of success under Ofsted regulations
In possession of a full driving licence and own vehicle
NVQ Level 5 (CYP) Children & Young People (or equivalent)
Level 3 in Children & Young People workforce
