Psychology Graduate Autism Milton Keynes – Social Care- Psychology Graduate Autism Milton Keynes – Ideal role for an aspiring Youth Justice Officer – May 10th start and continues September 2021

This is a Learning Support Assistant role that will put you into challenging, sometimes Anti-Social contexts that will build your foundations of experience. With this LSA role starting after, de-escalation and the language around it is incredibly important! This is a specialist school where empathy and pragmatism are key.

If you are an aspiring Youth Justice Officer or Probation Officer, this LSA role will give you pragmatic experience of working with vulnerable students who have been through severe traumas.

The Provision – focuses on CBT and ABA

**Specialist Autistic Provision, 49 students, boys and girls, with a range of mental health and learning needs

**Focus on the holistic, therapeutic and restorative, tailored curriculum for each student, mixed ability

**Monday to Friday, May and September 2021 starts, 8.15 – 4.15, £75 per day PAYE

**EYFS Curriculum to KS4, all depends on the ability of the child and their context

Restorative Practice, pragmatism and positive reinforcement will be key skills in this LSA role in Milton Keynes. The role specialises in working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and Wellness concerns. You will be working with the students to find their role in society, giving children a sense of acceptance.

Behaviour is only one aspect of this role, it is imperative that you have the academic skill to be able to raise academic attainment across a number of areas. Computing, Hairdressing, PE and the Performative Arts are all incredibly important here, there is a real holistic approach and feeling within this brand this specialist provision in Dorking.

The LSA role will give you experience in safeguarding and assessment of what rehabilitation students require to be empowered back into mainstream education. It is important to understand where each student comes from, they will all have a different story and their need will range dramatically. This is a much-nuanced role.
