We're looking for a talented Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of applying a Positive Behaviour Support Approach.

Please note: In this position you'll be required to work some weekends and occasionally some evenings.
The Role:
The Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner role is a mixture of home working and travelling to see clients. With a PBS Practitioner already based in the North, the ideal candidate for this role will be based around Worcestershire, Birmingham, Derbyshire, Bedfordshire, Staffordshire, or Cambridgeshire so between you both, you can cover nationally. You will be primarily responsible for providing practical support and advice to staff teams who support people with learning disability/autism and/ or behaviours of concern in order to effectively support operational services.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
Responding to PBS referrals and managing a caseload
Ensuring all services provide effective support in accordance with PBS competency frameworks, as well as the organisations internal PBS strategy and policies
Responding to crisis situations in which a person is posing a risk to self and/or others and there is a risk of placement breakdown/hospital admission
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner role will have relevant experience of applying a Positive Behaviour Support Approach.
You'll also need experience of:
Support planning and assessing
Creating and delivering training
Supporting clients with learning disabilities, autism and mental healthIn addition, it's essential that you possess the following:
A formal Positive Behavioural Support training such as CAPBS Coaches Award or PBS degree level
Experience of working within a provider setting/or with providers to develop a positive behavioural support approach
Extensive knowledge and experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism applying a positive behaviour support approach

The Package:
Basic salary: Up to £28,000 per annum for the ideal candidate
