About The Role
Our residents’ care is at the heart of everything we do. We strive to nurture dignity, independence and privacy through our purpose-built facilities.
Based at our Bluebirds Home in Shenley Lodge this is a fast paced role where you will be working in a small team ensuring that all rooms and communal areas on that Unit are clean and tidy and meet the high standards that are expected.
Duties include:
Maintain a friendly contact with residents respecting their right to choices, dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Discuss with the resident and/or the Unit Manager individual rights and choices in relation to room cleaning.
Keep all areas of the Units, including all toilets, clean and tidy. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning and sweeping as appropriate.
Ensure that all cleaning equipment/materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition
