An "Outstanding" rated Independent Fostering Agency with a High-quality of childcare, education and therapy for young people are looking for a Fostering Team Manager to join their team in Buckinghamshire. As the Fostering Team Manager, you will be supervising and managing staff as well as looking after half a caseload of foster carers. This role is a full-time and permanent position.

The ideal Team Manager will have looked After children and fostering experience. You will need to be committed and have the drive to match this Independent Fostering Agencies ambitions and they always look internally for promotions before externally.

Your responsibilities as the Fostering Team Manager:

Manage staff and services, ensuring our children and young people are receiving the highest standards of foster care, education and therapy possible.
Oversee and direct statutory and regulatory compliance in operations.
Supervise, support and appraise Social Workers, Fostering Advisors, Administrators, and other Centre staff.
Facilitate and develop positive relationships with our Children and Families, Centre staff, staff from other Centres within our wider Group, and external partners.

Requirements of you as the Fostering Team Manager:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid registration with Social Work England
Significant experience of working within Looked After Children
Experience of working within Fostering
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence & Car

Location: Buckinghamshire

Salary: up to £40,000
