Deputy Nursing Home Manager
We have a new opportunity for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to work in a nursing home in Milton Keynes. This is a large home that specialises in providing high-quality nursing and dementia care. The salary is £50k. The home is well maintained and offers a variety of facilities and a full programme of activities to its residents. The home is set in landscaped gardens with a range of lovely, relaxing outside areas for residents and staff to benefit from. The home is owned by an established care provider with good training and career development opportunities in the company.
As Deputy Nursing Home Manager you will need previous experience of this post or as a Clinical Lead or Head of Nursing Care in a similar setting and a commitment to providing elderly residents and those with dementia and palliative care needs with quality person centred care. The post may also be of interest to Registered Managers in smaller nursing homes. You will have excellent people management skills as well as a proven track record of ensuring clinical quality assurance and safeguarding. As Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Management team and work closely with the Registered Manager, deputising for them in their absence. Your remit will include overseeing and leading on all aspects nursing and clinical governance in the home. You will need to be a qualified RGN/RMN with a valid PIN. You need to be confident and competent at stakeholder engagement. A minimum of 3 years proven, successful management experience is required for this post

Have a current NMC PIN
Able to demonstrate your strong leadership skills
Have excellent communication skills
Good organisational skills
Experience of working to budgets
Previous experience, developing person centred support services
Good IT skills
