Deputy Home Manager – Nursing Home

£40,285 per annum + Free DBS Check + Pension + Additional Benefits
My client is a larger UK wide Charitable care provider with a great reputation, providing care to Elderly service users. As a registered charity my client invests in their staff and as such offer nationally recognised training courses and Leadership Academies for staff members. This home is in Newport Pagnell, is well established and has a fantastic reputation locally, and very high score on Carehome .co .uk
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead with a passion for providing care to the Elderly in a Nursing Home setting, this is a full time position with a mix or supernumerary and shift work.
Duties include:
* Supporting the Home Manager and senior team in all aspects of the Home's management.
* This will include assisting in the management, development and evaluation of all aspects of service provision in the home
* Take temporary complete charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager, when required
* Directly manage and supervise care and ancillary staff
* Mentoring and assessment of student nurses and induction of new care staff
Skills/Experience Required:
* Registered General Nurse (RGN)
* Supervisory experience in a Nursing Home
* Dementia and End of Life experience desirable, but training can be provided
