Do you have experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader of an Ofsted Registered Children’s home? Great! This could be your next big opportunity.

My client, who have a handful of Children’s Homes within the UK are looking for a Level 3 qualified (or working towards) Deputy Manager or Team Leader looking to step up, for their mixed gendered home in Milton Keynes, rated GOOD.

Job overview:

* To assist the Registered Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose

* Contribute to the devising, implementing and evaluation of changes with the involvement of front-line staff to continually improve services, systems and standards, in conjunction with the Registered Manager and the Senior Management team

* To deputies in the absence of the Registered Manager

* This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

What they are looking for:

* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce, or equivalent

* Current driving license required due to the nature of job role.

* 1 year’s experience of working in a residential setting with young people with complex and challenging behaviour
