About The Role
We are currently looking for a Clinical Nurse Trainer to ensure best practice for nursing staff is always maintained. You will be required to facilitate robust clinical induction and training programs whilst maintaining a focus on the future development and upskilling our nursing teams based at both Milton Keynes and Peterborough.

AIMS OF POSITION

Ensure that the nursing staff practice in accordance with the required professional guidance and best practice that ensures resident and staff safety.
Championing and promoting safeguarding within the organisation at all levels.
Supporting the development of supervision, mentoring, appraisals, and continual professional development, specifically to the nursing population.
Promote CPD opportunities and support the development of specialist nursing within the organisation.
Champion PJ Care as a learning organisation, supporting learning and development projects where required dependent on business need.RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility for ensuring Nursing Competencies are in place across this organisation.
Further develop Nursing specialisms within the organisations, by either personally delivering training or by managing external training providers where necessary.
Project Managing and problem-solving gaps in the organisations nursing provision, as highlighted by clinical governance.
Managing student nurse placements within the organisation by supporting the allocation process and liaising with universities.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Nursing Degree/Diploma and currently on the NMC Register
Teaching, mentoring, supervision experience
Excellent interpersonal skillsFull-time Salary: Competitive depending on skills and experience
