We are looking for full and part time CAREGivers & Companions in the Milton Keynes area of Buckinghamshire. No experience is required as full training will be provided. However, you must hold a full driving licence and access to a vehicle to apply for this job.

* £10.00 – £10.45 per hour.

* Enhanced rate for Bank Holidays, Double time for Christmas & Easter.

* 23p – 45p mileage allowance.

* Pension.

This company provides a minimum of 1-hours companionship-led call to vulnerable older people who require extra support to help them continue living safely and happily in their own homes. As a CAREGiver & Companion you will be part of a team who have been carefully matched to clients in your local area. You will have the opportunity to build a professional companion relationship with your clients because you will be visiting them on a regular basis.

Each client who you visit will have different needs, and their needs can change from time to time. What doesn’t change is how much they will look forward to your visit!

Your duties will vary depending on the client’s individual care package and may include:

* Help someone to get out of bed in the morning, or into bed in the evening.

* Prepare a bath or shower to the right temperature and support them to bathe.

* Assist with dressing or undressing.

* Medication reminders.

* Prepare a healthy meal, snack or hot drink.

* Shopping, or picking up a prescription.

* Help with light housework or laundry.
