VHL is a leading care provider looking for caring, passionate and reliable care staff to work in the Milton Keynes area. You will join a team of dedicated Care Assistants providing support to our clients in the comfort of their own home. This opportunity is domiciliary care only.

Must have a National Insurance number and be over the age of 18 to apply.

We are interested to hear from people with experience as carers and those who want to begin their career in care. We offer shadowing, coaching and interactive induction as well as coaching as well as further training. You must also hold a UK National Insurance number, not a reference number.

The duties of a Care Assistant will include

* Personal care – washing and bathing

* Support with dressing/undressing

* Prompting and administering medication

* Social companionship

* Shopping/grocery

* Moving and transfers and others

Salary and Shift Times:

* Day or night shifts available full time or part-time

* Day shifts 8am – 8pm | £9.80 weekdays – £10.85 weekends

* Waking night shifts 8pm – 8am | £10.20 weekdays and £11.00 weekends

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Education and previous experience is not essential as we provide training to all candidates but applicants MUST have

* Good written and spoken English language

* A caring and nurturing personality

* Ability to work alone and as part of a team

* Knowledge of the local area

* Reliable and trustworthy work ethics
