Adoption Team Manager / Registered Manager – Milton Keynes – Part remote – 6-12 months

About the Role:
* The Adoption Manager’s role is part of the senior management team of the agency and the overall purpose is to lead a team of qualified social workers in the core adoption work of the agency ensuring compliance with adoption legislation and guidance.
* This role acts as the Registered Manager for all regulated services. The Adoption Manager participates in the setting of annual targets for approvals and placements and ensures delivery of these targets.
* The focus of the Agency is on increasing the number of children placed annually, particularly hard to place children.
Requirements for the role:
* Recognised Social Work Qualification revelant to working with children, at least level 4
* Management qualification (or willingness to undertake)
* 5 years' post-qualification employment in family placement work
* 2 years' experience within management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Current Social Work England Registration
* Car owner
* Willing to travel throughout the area of operation and beyond, as work demands
* Willing to work from the office based in Milton Keynes 1 or 2 days a week
