UK Business Development Sales Manager, Smartphone Handsets, £60,000 Basic salary + great earning potential £150K Plus OTE, and masses of future growth opportunity. This is a new role with a burgeoning manufacturer of the Word's most cost-effective smartphones. As you will be the first on the ground in the UK with this well-funded and backed manufacturer, you will have the opportunity to grow your team and become the head of the UK operations. Long term your earnings should exceed £0.5M p.a.

To apply, you must be a proven business developer in the handset market and have a solid understanding of the 'supply chain fabric' and associated distribution networks and channels.

Also, you will have a strong understanding of the overall UK mobile market and be well connected to achieve rapid growth.

Please note that without experience in the sales of handsets into the major mobile phone distributors, operators and/or resellers your application cannot be considered.

Internationally, the company has grown through developing must-have products at a fair price and lead this segment of the market in many territories with their five products. They have developed by understanding their market position and dominating their segment in emerging markets. Offering comparable quality to the leading two large international manufacturers at a fraction of the cost they are in an exciting position to become a mainstream player. Also, a large percentage of their profits are invested in corporate social responsibility projects and in particular, the education of women in developing countries.

We are looking for a person that has demonstrated throughout their life a desire to be 'above average' and a proven ability to develop and execute a UK sales strategy. The launch in the UK will be well resourced, and it is anticipated that with success, you will develop and lead a UK sales and operational team. In addition, if you can establish a foothold in the UK so that the brand becomes a top #10 operator, you should expect your earnings to exceed £600K p.a.
