We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Salesperson/Driver (Building Supplies) for one of my clients in High Wycombe.
 
The ideal candidate will be approachable and friendly, someone who will meet the needs of our customers and provide service with a smile. In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies and therefore, previous trade counter sales experience in a busy merchant environment is desirable for this role  
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone
Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice
Delivering stock to customers
Providing quotations for customers
Purchasing materials and managing stock levels for the category
Taking a proactive approach to sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.

Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm, must be able to work 2 Saturdays a month

Qualifications and Skills
Sales experience within a merchant environment is preferable although training will be given to the right candidate
Building supplies product knowledge is advantageous
Confident when dealing with customers
Must have full clean driving licence
The ability to build great customer relationships
A good telephone manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skill Computer literate
