Our client has a permanent vacancy for Tenders and Contracts Specialist to support the future growth and development of the business.
Responsibilities
* Identify contract/tender opportunities with the private and public sectors, utilising multiple platforms
* Scoping out the requirements and tender application process
* Coordinating and managing the responses and submissions of all tenders and Requests for Proposal
* Supporting the implementation and development of tender when successful
* Working closely with all departments to ensure fit with business growths and strategy and to ensure all aspects of the contracts have been fulfilled, managed and supported through the procurement process
* Benchmark against competitors
Requirements
* Experience of working within a contracts/tendering role within a healthcare/science environment is beneficial
* Experience in a similar sales support role
* Strong communication and writing/bid text authorising skills
* High attention to detail
* Using Microsoft Excel on an expert level and managing large volumes of data
* Able to work to deadlines
* Organised with the ability to prioritise daily workloads and multiple changing projects
