Our client has an exciting opportunity within their company for an experienced Telesales Team Leader to manage and lead a team of Telesales Executives, communicating company and departmental goals and targets effectively. Motivating team members and assessing performance, providing management support, including recruitment, training, performance management and absence management.
Responsibilities
* Day to day management of a small telesales team, including holidays, absence management, performance management
* Developing team members through call monitoring, side by side’s and 1-2-1’s
* Leading by example on sales calls to develop new business
* Effective management of daily call schedules, ensuring the team are prepared for the day
* Point of contact for team members to report activities on a daily basis including feedback on customer experiences and proactively resolving customer/product issues
* Creating and running relevant incentive programmes to maintain high motivation and target achievement within the telesales team
* Ensuring full adherence to company policies and procedures
* Proactively review, monitor, and manage 'not ready’ times and reason codes.
* Presenting new products and processes to team members using a positive engaging approach
* Updating and addressing missed opportunities, motivating, and coaching team
* Supporting staff ensuring encouragement for two-way open conversations from all team members
Essential requirements
* Excellent leadership skills, organisational skills
* Previous experience leading a telesales team
* The ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with team members
* Address unwanted behaviours within the team whilst leading by example
* Apply commercial acumen to orders and promotional opportunities
* A good understanding of foodservice industry
