This Technical Sales Engineer role is based out of our Wafer Technology substrate manufacturing facility. Wafer Technology is an industry leading manufacturer of GaAs, InP, InSb, GaSb and InAs substrates.
You will provide commercial and technical support to existing business and maintaining current customer relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for representing the company at domestic and overseas trade exhibitions and conference events.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Engineer:
Interpretation of customers requirements to support the preparation of sales quotations
Engaging with site production and technical personnel to support preparation of commercial offers
Managing order follow up processes and supporting commercial report authoring
Customer relationship management
Supporting development of new business opportunities
Participating in sales and marketing activities including domestic and international exhibition attendance
Skills & Experience Required:
Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline with a knowledge of semiconductor materials, technology or device processing
Experience of commercial or customer facing role would be highly desirable (although training will be provided)
Working experience of compound semiconductor materials would be highly desirable
Ability to travel overseas (4 to 6 weeks per year)
