Job Outline:
My client who is a leading supplier of specialty components and materials used in the electronic, medical and sensor industries, is now looking for a further Technical Sales Engineer/Manager to join their team.
Based from a home office, or located near to their main office in Bedfordshire, you will be focussed on developing sales across both new and existing customers.
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will focus your daily activities on developing both new and existing business, as well as identifying and developing new market sectors and application areas.
Your responsibilities will include business development, lead qualification, quote generation and follow up.
On a daily basis you will be working with customers via email, phone and in addition to this you will visit customer sites to conduct face to face meetings as required.
Candidates must have proven sales experience involving highly technical products, ideally with OEM experience.
This role would suit candidates from backgrounds in material science, technical ceramics, sensors/sensing, piezo ceramics, electronic components etc.
In return my client can offer a competitive salary package including base salary, bonus and car allowance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a technical / scientific subject, along with proven sales experience.
Experience:
Previous experience in a technical sales role is essential.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work within the UK and hold all relevant paperwork. Copies of Visas and Passports will be requested.
