Company Car Technical Sales Engineer– Requirements
Experienced Technical Sales Engineer educated to HNC, HND in a technical discipline
Previous experience selling engineering solutions and products into end users within the industrial, engineering or manufacturing environments (specific product training will be provided)
Used to working towards set sales targets with the ability to exceed these on a regular basis
Strong planning skills with the ability to use sales related software tools and CRM’s
The ability to close sales Technical Sales Engineer – Responsibilities
Proactively identify new ducting sales opportunities
Support Business Development Manager where required with existing customers by visiting and being in contact on a regular basis, reporting via the CRM system
Attend site meetings as and when required offering customer advice on ducting and associated products
Report on market and competitor performance
Meet sales targets
Produce sales targets
Help customers to use the internal selling and quoting tools
Support the marketing team with feedback from market and customer activity
The ability to close a sale
