Team Manager – Prospecting
Due to growth within multiple existing accounts, we are looking to recruit a Team Manager to lead, support and motivate the sales teams responsible for lead generation and sales support services to our fleet (B2B) customers. This is a newly created role and a great opportunity to be involved in something from inception.
This is a sales management position; the overarching requirement is to hit the targets agreed within the contract.
Team Manager Responsibilities:
• Supporting the team with training and development
• Recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Internal reporting (both activity, performance and insight) to the operations and account managers
• Liaising with internal departments (e.g. IT, HR)
• Performance management / improvement
• Creation, documentation and continuous improvement of processes / procedures
Team Manager Requirements:
• Excellent business administration skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire others
• Excellent IT skills; experience of using CRM systems is particularly interesting
• It will help your application to have experience of managing a team working remotely
• An in-depth knowledge of the sales process; you should possess demonstrable experience of managing a team in a comparable setting
• It is not essential to have experience of the automotive industry, but it will help your application to have a working knowledge / interest, particularly within vehicle leasing.
• This is a pivotal role within the team; we are looking for applicants able to demonstrate experience of managing people within a B2B sales environment, ideally gained in an automotive setting.
