Established in 2010 my client who are holders of SIA Approved Contractor Status, provide a wide range of manned security services enhanced with CCTV and other technology based solutions, to a broad range of clients in a wide range of sectors across the country (including rail, manufacturing commercial etc. Their Head Office is in South Yorkshire with other offices strategically located to cover their core operating areas including one in London. I am currently working in partnership with them to find a manned security sales professional looking to join a stable, growing (current turnover circa £10m), tight knit, family like company with the prospect of future personal professional development and a career path.

Candidates can be located within reason anywhere in the country as finding the person with the right skill set and character is far more important. Applicants for the role should have a well-rounded 360 degree knowledge of the manned security sector and know how to sell the service from initial lead finding through to tender/ bid writing and closing, so evidence of a successful track record of sales in the sector is imperative. They are open to the sectors that are targeted so candidates can come with a background in any sector including rail, corporate, distribution, manufacturing, retail etc. Character wise candidates must share the same team orientated ethos of the company and possess a can do attitude, have excellent communication skills and a will to succeed. They are looking for an individual who is looking for a long term move where they can grow further with the company into a more senior sales role leading to team management and ultimately a Director title.

The initial sales target and commission structure will be agreed by negotiation.

Basic salary circa £30k-£38k, commission, vehicle/allowance, IT equipment, pension scheme etc
