Agria Pet Insurance has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Team Leader to join us based in Aylesbury. Working full time on a rotational shift pattern, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus commission and benefits.

The role is based in our contact centre however due to COVID-19 the successful candidate will be required to temporarily work from home.

We currently have two fantastic teams of friendly, customer-focused Telephone Sales Agents who are passionate about ensuring that the nation’s pet owners get reliable and appropriate insurance in place for their precious pets and now we’re looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and confident person, with exceptional communication and sales skills, to join one of our Aylesbury-based sales team as a Sales Team Leader.

About the role:

Working within a busy contact centre, you will lead a team of Telephone Sales Agents, to deliver sales targets and achieving all KPI’s within current regulatory guidelines and service levels.

You will be the primary contact for the Sales team members and Training & Coaching Leads and work closely with the Contact Centre Manager in delivering and maintaining organisational and departmental standards.

You’ll be required to work a rotational shift pattern that covers the hours of 9am- 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am- 5pm on Saturdays, working one in three Saturdays.

Key duties and responsibilities of our Sales Team Leader:

– Investigate customer complaints

– Monitor calls and feeding back to team members

– Setting operational targets and plans

– Monitor individuals’ performance and give them everything they need to thrive

– Provide customers with pet insurance quotes and conclude sales calls effectively

What we are looking for in our Sales Team Leader:

– Competent in addressing unsatisfactory absence, performance and behavioural issues

– Be approachable

– Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

– Have proven experience in managing, coaching, motivating and developing team members

– An articulate and pro-active individual with excellent communication and relationship skills

– Motivated to achieve positive results and own and meet team targets
