Sales Office Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Office Manager to join a hi-tech engineering organisation who specialise in the design and manufacture of a range of instruments and accessories for the medical industry. You will need to be very proactive and enjoy a busy customer focused environment. You will join a small busy team and manage a team of 6 office staff.
The company work in a state-of-the-art facility and have a great family feel environment. Along with staff management the role will also include the supervision of the various functions of the Sales Office. Including export order processing, quotations, and tenders. You will also be involved with negotiation of customer sales contracts.
You will need to have experience manging a small sales office team in a manufacturing environment, be able to demonstrate commercial expertise and have used Sage or a similar program. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves interacting with people and wants to be part of a close-nit busy sales team.
This role will comprise of three main areas:
Staff Management
Sales office Management
Sales Contracts and Tenders
As a Sales Manager some of your daily tasks may include…
People management – managing a team of 6 office staff.
Supervision of all sales activities – order processing, KPI’s, improving the overall proficiency etc.
Review, draft and negotiate customer sales.
Provide commercial support to the sales teams.
Sales Office Manager Requirements…
degree qualified with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with managing teams.
Proficient with MS Office and competent with Sage 200 or similar
