Sales Manager – B2B Prospecting
Location: Home-based During Covid (Milton Keynes).
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Benefits.
Contract: Full time, permanent.
ROI is a market-leading sales support agency based in South Cheshire and Milton Keynes employing c.350 people. The business has 4 offices in the UK and a European presence in Sweden.
Due to growth within multiple existing accounts, we are looking to recruit a Sales Team Manager to lead, support and motivate the sales teams responsible for lead generation and sales support services to our fleet (B2B) customers. This is a newly created role and a great opportunity to be involved in something from inception.
ROI provides a range of business services to the automotive industry including business to business sales leads, customer services, IT and technology, field teams and administration.
This role will blend home working with office-based working initially so you must be comfortable working remotely in addition to be able to travel to our Milton Keynes office.
The Role
This is a sales management position; you will lead a team to hit the targets agreed within the contract (automotive B2B) In addition, the key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the team with training and development
• Recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Internal reporting (both activity, performance and insight) to the operations and account managers
• Performance management / improvement
• Creation, documentation and continuous improvement of processes / procedures.
This is a pivotal role within the team; we are looking for applicants able to demonstrate experience of managing people within a B2B sales environment, ideally gained in an automotive setting.
In addition, you should possess:
• Excellent business administration skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire others
• Excellent IT skills; experience of using CRM systems is particularly interesting
• It will help your application to have experience of managing a team working remotely
• An in-depth knowledge of the sales process; you should possess demonstrable experience of managing a team in a comparable setting
• It is not essential to have experience of the automotive industry, but it will help your application to have a working knowledge / interest, particularly within vehicle leasing.
