The Web Sales Manager Role:
As a Web Sales Manager the primary function of your role is to sell screen space and manage the team responsible for domestic hires across our client’s estate (100 locations).
Selling both reactively and proactively utilising our CRM platform, develop our existing database of clients and continue to grow the business. Our typical customers include Schools, Charities, and private individuals as well as some corporate businesses and we host around 5000 events each year.
General Responsibilities and Duties of the Web Sales Manager:
* Manage and mentor the Web Sales team ensuring all enquires receive responses within 3 hours and all qualified sales opportunities are closed within 24 hours.
* Monitor and respond to customer enquiries and close sales re-allocating resource appropriately from time to time to meet demand during peak periods.
* In conjunction with the marketing team, develop and deploy a year-round marketing strategy.
* Manage our online booking portal.
* Report weekly sales figures to the Senior Event manager and Head of B2B.
* Ensure that all customers have paid in full ahead of their event and provide weekly debt reports to the Senior Event Manager.
* Ensure that all bookings conform to the current required parameters or “booking rules”.
* Submit all confirmed hires to the Film Team on a weekly basis ensuring that all information for each booking is present.
* To fully understand the pricing structure and maximise opportunity during peak and off-peak periods working closely with other key stakeholders to set pricing and agree promotions.
* Working with our e-commerce team, ensure that our private hire website pages are up to date.
* Improve and / or update our existing products, identifying new sales opportunities in the marketplace developing new products accordingly.
* Maximise each event sale by ensuring that optional extras are upsold to clients where possible.
* Ensure that our operations team are fully briefed on all confirmed events.
* Maintain a high level of customer service ensuring that any issues are dealt with promptly and appropriately.
* To keep the CRM system (our internal database) up to date with all enquiry’s, leads and confirmed events reporting any issues to our development team and ensuring solutions are forthcoming.
* To proactively seek new business including following up on marketing materials sent to prospective customers.
* To ensure that customer satisfaction surveys are maintained providing feedback and analysis to key stakeholders.
* To support the wider event sales and event operational teams where required.
The Ideal Web Sales Manager:
* Good working knowledge of CRM (ideally Dynamics 365) and other Microsoft packages particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
* Experience of managing a sales team in a busy, high-volume environment.
* Able to build relationships and work closely with other key stakeholders within the business.
* Customer service orientated with a confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and event suppliers.
* Able to work under pressure and multitask particularly during the peak seasons.
* To be driven by sales results and meeting targets.
* To be a team player and support others to exceed
