Steelwork fabrication business in Milton Keynes region requires a Sales Manager. This is fast growing fabrication business with an increasing client base and so requires an energetic and driven sales person to help with incoming enquires and to work with existing team to widen client portfolio.
The company provides a wide range of steelwork from beams and small works items steelwork to builders to industrial structures to around 150 tonnes to larger clients, construction companies, local authorities etc…
Role / Duties:
* Handle incoming sales enquires and work alongside estimators to submit quotes.
* Chase quotations, dealing with clients to process won bids to completion.
* Management of existing client base and to work with marketing colleagues to help promote business into target areas and target clients.
* Leads provided.
* Visiting existing clients maintaining excellent client relations.
* Visit potential clients, following on from introduction.
Candidate requirements:
* Experience in sales within the construction / building / steelwork industry is required. Steelwork knowledge / working in steelwork sales would be an advantage but is by no means essential as relevant training will be given regarding the steelwork industry and company products.
* Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in sales working within the construction, building or steelwork industry.
* Must be driven with a will to succeed to help continue the business growth and development.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
* Smart appearance with personable manner.
* Excellent working knowledge of full suite of Microsoft office and any sales / CRM software would be an advantage.
* Commercially astute and aware of business goals and objectives.
* Ability to organise your own workload to company targets,

* This is a full time, permanent PAYE position.
* Very good salary paid (DOE) plus paid commission structure which should achieve circa OTE £60k but there are no limits to commission potential !
