My client is a lead manufacturer in their industry and are part of a larger group of companies, all boasting success from over six decades. This Sales Manager role will be based from a Shropshire location but will require travel across the UK

Job role/duties

•Build a digital ink customer base through appointed distributors whilst optimizing sales and margins of new / existing product range
•Research and follow market trends,
•Work with product development team to grow the business
•Interact with existing, new and potential customers
•Ensure records of interactions are kept up to date using the company CRM system
•Submit monthly reports as to progress of customer orders
•Review the company marketing material, website and social media to ensure it is up to date, relevant & legal
•Prepare company presentations / training manuals for the product area.
•Prepare quarterly sales product forecasts
•Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets and sales & marketing plan

To be considered for this role you MUST:

•Have a highly technical background
•Understand all aspects of the graphics ink marketplace
•Have understanding of marking boxes, coding systems & laser processes
•Have highly developed sales and negotiation skills
•Be entrepreneurial and have a good business sense
•Be able to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and enterprise
•Have excellent communication and people skills
•Be able to work calmly under pressure
•Possess excellent IT, budgetary control and report writing/analytical skills
