Sales Manager

Up to £50k + benefits

Milton Keynes

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the strategy of Internal Sales Executives, whilst maintaining and building relationships with Key Customers supporting the growth plans of the business function. Also responsible for managing the team to a defined sales target and involved with the planning and execution of their activity plans and product marketing campaigns each day, month and year.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Developing the customer base, defining and delivering the strategy for sales growth.
Conducting regular sales meetings with the team to set daily/weekly/monthly targets and objectives.
Delivering good quality sales reports to the Sales Management team, on progress of the initiative and activity of the team.
Preparing and implementing an approved business plan, to ensure the desired level of sales and gross profit targets are achieved, in line with the company's objectives.
Networking with all key stakeholders within the business environment to ensure maximum return on business goals.
Creating and maintaining relationships, making a good impression.
Taking charge of your personal development and contributing to the evaluation of performance in line with the company's core competencies and learning and development framework.

What you'll need to succeed:

The ability to create sales plans and strategies and communicate these at all levels.
Excellent business knowledge to communicate plans to all key departments.
Experience in a similar proactive sales environment will be a major benefit when you are dealing with clients.
Excellent leadership skills.
