Sales Manager / Account Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global electronics manufacturer. The successful Sales Manager / Account Manager must have experience selling electronic products, including connectors, cable assemblies/harnesses, lighting, LED technology, interconnect systems, switchgear, PCBs or similar into Defence, Military and Aerospace industries.

The Role
Develop business by building successful, long-term client relationships
Manage approximately 40 clients worth £6m-£9m of annual sales
Selling electronic products, including connectors, cable assemblies/harnesses, lighting, LED technology, interconnect systems, switchgear, PCBs or similar into Defence, Military and Aerospace industries
Selling to and managing key accounts within the Defence, Military and Aerospace industries
Drive value by building an understanding of customer requirements
Manage sales performance through key performance indicators
Working from home, covering UK wide
Liaise with various engineering departments

Requirements
Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer or similar
Must have experience selling into Defence, Military and Aerospace / Aviation industries
Knowledge of electronic products, including connectors, cables/cable assemblies/harnesses, lighting, LED technology, interconnect systems, switchgear, PCBs or similar
A technical / electronics/engineering qualification would be beneficial
Willingness to cover UK wide
Full UK driving licence
