Lamonby Recruitment have an exciting new role for an ambitious Sales Manager to join a specialist MEP contractor.

Our client requires a Sales Manager with a background in Building Services. The ideal candidate will have experience within the MEP or HVAC sector. knowledge of mechanical products such as pumps, cooling systems would be an advantage.

The company wants to expand sales significantly in a sector of growing demand.

Your role will be to continue the growth of existing clients and expand sales within the South. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven sales professional who want to one day progress to National sales Manager.

The client is situated in North London and are ideally seeking a candidate located in suitable locations such as London, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Kent, Hampshire, East or West Sussex

Sales Manager Duties

* Significantly increase sales in the South East – mainly London and outside the M25.

* Create new leads by warm and cold calling, internet research and marketing activities.

* Target and build relationships with relevant clients such as

* End clients / developers, in key sectors, who can really benefit from our technology. Consulting engineers, contractors and construction companies

* Support the design team in preparing quotes.

* Regularly follow-up leads and quotes on a systematic basis using our CRM software.

* Keep CRM system up to date

* Manage marketing campaigns.

* Work closely with the Managing Director and the design team on projects

* Play a key role in management meetings.

* Prepare sales reports and analyse data from CRM.

Sales Manager Requirements

* Proactive sales driven individual.

* Minimum 2 years’ business development experience in construction sector.

* Sales Manager / Engineer with a background in Building Services. The ideal candidate will have experience within the MEP sector or HVAC sector. knowledge of mechanical products such as pumps, cooling systems would be an advantage.

* Knowledge of and relations with companies trading in the construction sector.

* Cold calling, lead generation experience.

* Follow up and relationship building experience.

Package

* Salary: Up to 40k+ depending on experience + commission
