BelkavitzSloan are proud recruitment partners to a World Leading Manufacturer at the forefront of Technology who are currently seeking a bright, enthusiastic and technically astute Sales Engineer for the South East of England.
The Role;
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling the companies unique range of Mechanical components to OEM’s both existing and new across a broad plethora of Industry sectors including Automation, Pharmaceutical, Food & Drink, Semi conductor, Paper & Packaging and Machine Tool OEM’s
Responsibilities;
You will have a complete integrated product portfolio at your fingertips to meet your customer’s needs and solve their biggest Mechanical and Industrial automation challenges. And, perhaps most importantly, you will have the backing of the best application engineers, product support engineers, and sales management in the industry to ensure that you can close the sale and exceed customers’ expectations.
Responsibilities
·Grow sales of the complete product range across the South East by working on new and existing sales opportunities
·Meet/Increase sales quotas through providing sales support as well as the introduction of new/existing products and services
·Expand customer base through the development and execution of a Target Account Business Plan for OEM’s
·Develop market intelligence and document this knowledge in the CRM system
·Work with the Marketing department to promote sales efforts
·Promote and sell the company’s technologically sophisticated components through solutions based selling
·Attend trade shows to seek out potential customers and to represent the company at these shows
·Identify, define, and develop the best technical solution and strategy for customer applications
·Hold in-depth technical presentations and discussions with the customers
·Attend yearly sales meetings and workshops
Requirements;
·An HNC/HND/BSc or any other relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering desirable
·Previous Technical Sales experience working with a manufacturer of MRO distributor selling mechanical type components
Product knowledge in some or the following areas – Bearings, Linear Motion, Pneumatics or Mechatronics.
·Previous Industry sector sales experience in some or all of the following – Automation, Pharmaceutical, Food & Drink, Aerospace & Defence and Machine Tool OEM’s relationships along with driving new business
·Demonstrable track record in developing, maintaining and strengthening client
·Enthusiastic, self motivated and with a passion for sales and business development
