About the role:
An innovative, fast paced subcontract sheet metal manufacturing / precision machining company are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer to join their team.

Duties:

* Undertake new customer/market research and prospecting for new business

* Create and follow up quotations

* First point of contact for customer accounts within the company

* Attend monthly meeting and prepare activity and sales reports

* Act as a go between for the customer and our production to provide continuous dialogue and updates

Skills & Experience:

* Qualifications preferred and prior experience working for a subcontract manufacturing business

* Able to interpret engineering drawings

* Highly confident communicator both verbally and in writing

* Broad appreciation of Engineering / industrial / manufacturing

* Full driving license

Hours:

* 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Commission / Bonuses:

* All sales £250k-£500k @ 1% per year

* All net sales £500k-£1m @ 1.75% per year

* All sales over £1m @ 2.75%

* If over £500k achieved in first 2 quarters, additional 1.5% Bonus (6 Month speed Bonus)

* 12 Month Retained customer sales bonus @ 1
